这是一个针对Wordpress评论分页的增强插件。
功能特性
- 评论分页， 可以选择所有的文章都分页还是特定的文章分页；
- 可以选择评论的显示排序， 是顺序还是倒序显示评论， 同样也可以指定特定文章相反方式排序；
- 无需对Wordpress和主题进行修改，便于安装。
- 可以选择每页最多评论条数；
- 可以自定义分页数导航条的样式；
- 可以选择最多显示的分页数， 超出部分用…表示， 可以改善排版；
Requirement to themes
the comment objects of your theme must has an ID like “comment-xxx”. It’s a standard of Wordpress themes now, yet some themes may still not meet this requirement.
对主题的要求
在主题中的评论的对象必须依从Wordpress主题标准，有“comment-xxx”这个ID，否则将无法使用。目前仍有少数主题不支持。

Installation
- Download and unzip the Plugin package.
- Upload it to Wordpress Plugin folder, ‘*WORDPRESSROOT*/wp-content/plugins/’
- Activate from Plugin page in the Wordpress site admin.
- Other configurations like CSS and more can be found in the option section in the site admin.

Can you make it so that RECENT COMMENTS, when you click on them, they are unable to take you to the correct page.. they only take you to the main page.

OK… if you add this then it works:

BUT… the page changes over time.
Maybe you need to add a function to “view all”:
?wpc=all#comment-18031
PLEASE ADD A VIEW ALL COMMENTS OPTION and then you can make the link work like this:

最喜欢wp-paged-comments和wordpress-thread-comment，其实功能好像也差不多，为什么不将这两个插件合并，然后在WP的管理界面通过参数设定呢？

好像我的主题并不依从Wordpress主题标准，插件启用后并无效果。不知能否告知如何修改主题，才能应用我们的插件？

I’ve installed the plugin and have it working. Thank you, it’s quite useful.
1. Like the comment from “marina” above, if one has a “get recent comments” section on a sidebar, clicking on one of those comments that is embedded in a large paged comment thread does not take you to the comment, it only takes you to the post.
Using your plugin is stripping comments of their permalinks.
2. You have the list of comments on each page numbered from 1 to x (with x being the total displayed on a page). I’d prefer it if each comment had a fixed number that spanned pages. So, if I have a comment thread with 1000 comments in it and have it divided up into 10 pages of 100 each, page 1 would be 1 to 100, page 2 would be 101 to 200, page 3 would be 201 to 300, etc.
This way each comment has a unique # that never changes, even if I change the number of comments displayed on a page.

Now that I think of it, fixing #2 above would probably fix #1.
If each comment retained a unique place in the list, it could be found more easily.

When you activate your plugin everything is working great. So when a visitor opens a post with lot of comments he/she sees paged comments as we expect. The firt page of comments starts from the first comment. So I’m looking a way that a visitor could first see the LAST comment page and if he/she wants then click on first, second, all etc. Is it possible?

@DeuceD, you can set Edit Comments Orderby DESC in wp paged comments control panel. is not it?
Same thing when you reply to a comment, it would be great if -after replying- it show the last page instead of going again to first page.

@青色, 你拿的主题太垃圾了, 这个comment-xxx, 其中的xxx就是comment_ID, 这个东西是用来标志每个comment的, 如果连这个都没有, 那比如我博客上右边栏的最新评论, 最后你就无法定位到正确的评论上了.
你可以参考一下default模板, 看看其中的comments.php文件中, 查找id=”comment-”, 自己比对一下吧

as to how to make it work.
I have just tried your pluggin, I have a theme called Simplicity. I activated the pluggin, and edited the options to DESC and with 50 comments per page. But nothing is happening, the page im working on is preguntasdeportes.com, I would like your advice please

To better explain myself, I think it would be helpfull for many to know what needs to be edited in the theme in order to permit comment pagination.

I am a bit confused, can Google and Yahoo! see these new pages, ?wpc=2 ?wpc=3 etc? I do not see href links when I view the source code, how will Google be able to spider all the pages to see all of the links?

Hi, I have been using this plugin for few months and it is a great plugins. However, when I set the the value comments per page, ex: 10, it will appear corectly, however my tab in wordpress that I create with tabber jquerry is not there anymore. If I put the value in comments per page into 200, so that there is no separate anymore, the tabber is ok.
Anything I can do to fix this?

I am using the [Plugin:WP Paged Comments] for dividing my comments into pages, and showing only the latest in the main post.
But, the numbering of the comments gets reversed so my latest comment order number is 1 (instead of 150).
Is there a better plugin to use? or a way to fix this in this plugin?

Hi. I apologize if this has been addressed, but ever since I upgraded to the latest version of Wordpress, the paged comments plugin is not working right. Whenever someone hits “all” they cannot see them. Whenever someone posts a comment it doesn’t show that post (nor any posts for that matter). Is there a way to fix this easily? Or will there be an upgrade to fix this problem? Thanks!

I almost have this one working perfect as well. Thank you for your help with this plugin and the threaded-comments one, it fixed my issue.
The new issue I have now is that I use a mobile theme for my site. The theme gives a different page for viewing comments, so its not on the same page as the post, the comments show up on sitename.com/post-name/?comments=true It is a specialized theme. The issue I have is that it will only show how many comments I put for it to show in the wp-paged-comments settings. So if I put 10 comments per page, it only shows those first 10 comments but it does not show any comments after that. There is no link that comes up for page 2, or 3 or view all. I have tried putting in “ into the theme, and it shows the paging option, but if I try to click page 2, or 3, or view all it just gives me an error page. Any suggestions, or a way to show all comments for that page by default or with a link?

Also, I have tried adding `?wpc=all#comments` ?wpc=all#comments to the end of the url but that did nothing. The code that got erased from my main post that did not show was - php paginate_comments_links() - hope it shows this time.

请问paged comments这个插件是不是跟super cache插件有点不兼容。我使用的时候发现，就是生成的静态页面显示不出来页码。具体点就是开启super cache之后，进入有分页评论的页面，可以看到页码。然后刷新页面，就看不到页码了，然后也就没办法翻页了。第二页以后的页面都看不到了。但是，清空cache之后，一切恢复正常。我是在K2主题上测试的。。。谢谢。。。：）
